The first and eldest of all the angels, Lucifer is seemingly angry and jealous of everything God has gifted Man - especially the pleasure of sex and the gift to procreate. The truth is that he is using this as a reason to divide the angels and go to war. Ultimately he knows that Hell must be created for Man to have freewill and for the Angelic host to have a reason to exist. He lies to all the other angels in order to fulfill God’s ultimate vision. Lucifer uses his influence as favoured son of God, combined with his charm to manipulate those around him - even those he loves most. Lucifer is closest to Michael and Gabriel; he is also the best swordsman in all heaven.

The second of the arch-angels; God has allowed Michael to ascend to his throne in his absence. Michael is utterly dogmatic in fulfilling this role and what he believes to be the will of God. However he does not know of God’s true intentions to divide the angels. He is an excellent bureaucrat and organizer. Michael sees Lucifer as defying the word of God’s law and the two once beloved brother’s clash. Their differences lead to the 1st war in Heaven.

Who is as God
Of all the angels it is Gabriel who is closest to Lucifer. Before the war she tends Eden as its gardener. Gabriel is the most wise of the angels and sometimes plays peace-maker between Michael and Lucifer when their ‘games’ become too serious. She loves Lucifer but is wary of his defiance; however when it comes time to choose sides she finds herself unable to go against him, especially since she secretly knows the reasons behind Lucifer’s rebellion.
